Move-in Info
Although move-in procedures vary from community to community, general move-in guidelines are listed below. Most American Lifestyles community apartments are unfurnished, allowing each resident to express his or her individuality.
Please feel free to measure the new apartment when you make plans for placement of furniture and belongings.
Communities provide transportation for shopping, sightseeing, banking, recreational activities and medical appointments. Residents are encouraged to arrange for transportation in advance. Most communities also have parking garages available for residents who wish to bring their own cars.
Enrichment activities are provided for residents every day. Calendars of activities are posted in the activity room and are available to each resident on a monthly basis.
Leases are signed on a monthly basis, and a 30-day notice is required before moving out.
